FlexiWEB CMS is a flexible, affordable and highly scaleable website content management system which has been custom developed by Nostix to allow clients to manage their own websites.

FLexiWEB forms the backbone of your website and allows single or multiple users to dynamically and easily create web pages, upload images, upload documents, build navigation menus and make use of a calendar,create RSS feeds and other add-on functions available. All of this can be done within the overall design and architecture of the website.

FlexiWEB uses a file structure, similar to the well-known windows file structure, allowing users to create folders and sub folders and store files in these folders. This user friendly folder structure is imitated on the web and a parent-child relationship tree is used to keep track of website content.
Web pages created by FlexiWEB are also actual files stored within a given folder and not in a database, obviating the need for additional database add-ons.

FlexiWEB can be easily expanded to accommodate other custom-developed client applications, such as online payments, product catalogues, electronic newsletter systems, services and personnel databases and much more.

FlexiWEB has its own JavaScript and DHTML driven HTML editor and dynamic navigation menu. When using FlexiWEB no external web editing software package (such as Microsoft Frontpage or Dreamweaver) is needed and therefore no direct (FTP) access to the web server needs to be configured for the user using the system. FlexiWEB accordingly makes website administration easy, manageable and childsplay for any user, after receiving basic training on the use of the system with the FlexiWEB Tutorial Pack, provided with every FlexiWEB CMS implemented.

The FlexiWEB system is written in ASP and runs on the Microsoft platform. It makes use of standard components found in the Microsoft IIS web server and Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. No extra server software or programs are needed for FlexiWEB to function. The FlexiWEB application runs on a basic setup of Microsoft server such as Windows NT4 / 2000 / 2003 / XP Pro. (It is not a .NET application and therefore the .NET framework is not required). Where Nostix hosts the website, Nostix provides the server platform required to run the application.
