The Nostix Library Management System (LMS) is a custom developed web-based library or knowledge centre application directed at medium to large businesses and providing a solution for the management of institutional knowledge and resources.
Nostix LMS provides full administration features through which knowledge resources are captured in the library database using the sophisticated library management interface. The interface also allows the capturing of resource costs, updates and document versions, check-out procedures for resources and more.
Additional features allows the uploading of resources into the database in a variety of formats, and the conveying of news, developments, conferences and workshops etc. are users through the webpage front-end and RSS feeds and newsletters.
A key feature to the system is the online search facility which users can use to find any resource contained in the library using a variety of search criteria and queries. This allows tracking and identification of valuable institutional knowledge resources and ensures ease of access to both hard copy and electronic documentation. |
